Jumtla Campiness: A relaxing camping experience by the Lamphraya River in Nakhon Pathom Province.
After Adika had planned to go to Jumtla Campiness in Noen Maprang, Phitsanulok Province earlier this year, she followed the accommodation's page. When she heard that it would be opened at the riverside of Lamphraya River, Nakhon Pathom Province, Adika did not miss this opportunity to book a camping trip by the river for a night.
We traveled by car from Bangkok, heading towards Bang Len district. The accommodation is located on the same road as the Lam Phaya Floating Market, but it will be reached slightly earlier. The journey takes approximately 1.30 hours. We arrived at our destination.
Jumtla Campiness is a campsite located by the Lam Phraya River. The owner, Jum, is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The camp initially had only three tents, accommodating only six guests per day. Upon arrival, guests park their cars and walk to the lobby, which is located behind a large bamboo grove. The lobby's design complements the camp's natural surroundings. After a tiring journey, guests are greeted with a refreshing selection of herbal drinks, including butterfly pea with lemon, bael fruit juice, and chrysanthemum tea.
The structure is made of bamboo and decorated with everyday household items such as baskets and fish traps, creating a beautiful and harmonious effect.

The flowers from around the accommodation were beautifully arranged.
After drinking herbal tea and relaxing in the lobby for a while, we went to our camp tent. As we had booked early, we were able to get a tent by the water's edge. The inside of the tent was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Most importantly, for those who are afraid of the heat, there is no need to worry because the tents here have air conditioning. However, the bathrooms are shared and are located a short walk away behind the lobby.
Relax and enjoy the river view in front of the tent with provided chairs.
Boats sail by, offering a delightful view.
This is a great spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful riverside view.
It's time for dinner. We went behind the lobby and had dinner in the rice field.
The view is very green.
The food looks very delicious. The morning glory is freshly picked from the field.
Shrimp paste chili dip served with beautifully carved fresh vegetables, so aesthetically pleasing that one hesitates to eat them.
The highlight of the dinner was the grilled river prawns, with each diner receiving a large one.
The shrimp roe mixed with rice and drizzled with seafood dipping sauce is incredibly delicious.
The food is here, let's eat. This meal is delicious, and you can ask for more rice.
Let's sit and enjoy the sunset by the river for a while.
It's getting late, let's take a shower. The shower room is shared, but it's not far from our accommodation and it's clean.
As dusk falls, the lights from the lamps begin to illuminate, creating a different kind of beautiful atmosphere.
In the evening, there may be a lot of insects, but there is mosquito repellent to apply. When visiting nature, you have to encounter insects to get the full experience.
Waking up to the refreshing sight of flowers surrounding the accommodation.
A selection of sweet treats for breakfast to enjoy with your morning coffee, including the famous "Khanom Pia" from Kru Som Song, a renowned bakery in Bang Len.
You can also enjoy it with herbal tea or fruit juice.
We opted for a refreshing snack of cookies paired with butterfly pea and lime water.
The breakfast is a delicious pork blood soup with various ingredients, including pork bones, minced pork, and liver. You can even ask for a refill.
After breakfast, I walked to the living room to relax.
Colorful morning glory flowers bloom by the water.
After staying at Jumtla Campiness, I was impressed by the camp's concept, which was meticulously planned by the owner, Jum. The warm welcome, the delicious dinner by the rice field, and the breakfast with blood soup and delicious Thai desserts were all carefully designed and decorated to ensure that every guest who visits this camp by the Lamphun River has a happy and memorable experience. Seeing this relaxing atmosphere, don't hesitate to follow me and come chill out!
