If you are planning to have fun with your friends during this term break, Water Park is also another interesting choice. Last week, I went to Vana Nava Water Park, Hua Hin, and my friends got a very cheap voucher for 690 baht from Thailand Tourism Festival O_O. Moreover, there is also 20% discount from full price for students.
Our journey starting from Victory Monument, I suggest that you should depart before 8.00am. So we do not have to wait for playthings because there are not many people come by the time it opens. (Make sure that you take the right van to Pranburi because it will stop by the Water Park).
Finally!!! We are here at Vana Nava
Walking to the ticket booth pass by the two cute white rabbits ^^
For the ticket price at the counter, children is 600 baht and adult is 1,000 baht. After pay for the ticket we will get RFID wristband which is for entering, exiting, buying and photographing in the Water Park.
This is it "RFID wristband"
Towels for rental either at the counter or in the locker room
There are 2 entrances. We enter through Amazon cafe side where we will see the Adventure Zone first.
This zone is Ropes Course with Rock Climbing. There is an additional fee for 150 baht. Next is Surf Zone surfing on Flow House Model. It is very interesting but I did not have a chance to enjoy just standing out front. Just so you know, there is RFID top up counter in the front of Surf Zone too.
Moreover, near by the Surf Zone, there are also game vending machines for you to enjoy as well.
This zone is Locker Rooms and Changing rooms. There are signs all over the park so you will not get lost for sure.
Lockers - Showers - Changing Area
For showers and changing room are separated but shared locker room. Using RFID system to open the lockers (Personally I do not like the idea of share locker room because it is not private for both female and male).
Welcome to the Water Jungle ^^ (Do not forget to put on your slipper because floor is quite hot during the day ><)
After tired of playing, you can recharge your energy at the food court in front of the Locker Room or the concession inside the water park area by using RFID for payment.
It is quite a standard rate for food here: 60 - 200 baht and drinks are around 20 - 60 baht
The conclusion of this trip>>>
Total payment: 1,050 baht
- Student promotion 20% discount from 1,000 baht to 800 baht
- Towel Rental 100 baht
- Locker 150 baht
- Deposit for RFID 100 baht and Towel 100 baht (in the morning)
Direction: From Bangkok, we take the van from Victory Monument and get off in front of the Vana Nava Water Park. There is also Shuttle Bus from Hua Hin City for pick up service. <<Just one thing, there is no exact bus schedule. To make sure, I suggest that you confirm with them before going.>>
Changing room: It is quite clean, separated male and female but shared Locker Room. In my opinion, I like the Locker Room to be separated as well because I think it should be more private for female. According to this point, I have to be more considering if I would like to come back here again.
Playthings: There are all new playthings. Staffs are nice and friendly. But there are not many things to play. It likes "Oh!!! We have played everything in here let's go for the second round hahahaha".
Overall, I am impressed with food, playthings and staffs:). The only thing that make me unimpressed is the Locker Room ><.
