Leaving Wat Phothisamphan, we crossed the city to the Pu Ya Shrine in Udon Thani. We understand that there are two Pu Ya Shrines: one next to the Thai-Chinese Cultural Center and another at the City Pillar Shrine. For this entry, we will focus on the Garden of Faith and the Pu Ya Shrine next to the Thai-Chinese Cultural Center.

The interior features a Chinese garden with numerous willow trees.

The walkway looks just like the ones we see in Chinese movies.

Next to it is the shrine of the grandfather and grandmother.

No need to worry about making mistakes when worshipping at the shrine, as staff are available to guide you through the steps and directions.

Pavilion by the Water

Near the shrine, there is a large pond, which should be called a lake rather than a pond because it is so big. There is a pavilion by the water for visitors to worship, relax, and even exercise.

The Udon Thani Shrine Foundation is located on the same side as the Thai-Chinese Cultural Center.
