Greetings! I'm Phop, back again! Are you tired of the evening traffic jams around Ratchaprasong Intersection? Siam is also very crowded, with people everywhere you go. Plus, I'm starving! There are so many people, and every restaurant has a waiting list. So, I'd like to suggest an alternative for those of you who are famished! This place is also ideal for those of you who have foreign friends who want to try Thai food. It's easy to eat and has a wide variety of options. Come and try it out!

Holiday Inn is a hotel chain under the IHG Hotels & Resorts group. It has numerous branches, both in Bangkok and other provinces. I have frequently stayed at their hotels in Pattaya and Chiang Mai. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious.
Ginger Restaurant, meaning "ginger," is a Thai restaurant with a modern design and an airy atmosphere. It is an open-plan restaurant where you can choose to sit either inside, which is more private, or outside, where you can watch people go by.
The restaurant offers all-day dining, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, as well as a la carte options. Each day's buffet features special dishes, which are detailed on the posters above.
The overall food quality is good, fresh, and easy to eat. It may be a bit too sweet for some, but the seasoning is well-balanced. Both children and adults can enjoy it comfortably. Although the menu is not fancy, the cooking and use of ingredients are excellent. The ingredients are fresh and new. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from, mainly Thai food, but also international cuisine. The Thai food is delicious, spicy, and authentically Thai. It is suitable for bringing foreign friends. The location is also convenient and easy to access, just opposite CTW.
The menu changes daily, and the restaurant takes care to list the ingredients of each dish, including any allergens or religious restrictions. This is especially important for guests with dietary restrictions or religious beliefs. During my visit, there were guests from many different countries.

While the menu may not be as extravagant as advertised, it offers simple dishes suitable for everyone, including foreigners who want to sample Thai cuisine. The variety of Thai fruits is particularly impressive. If you have foreign friends, this is a great place to bring them for a taste of authentic Thai food.
The Atmospheres ⭐⭐⭐
Good, quiet, and relaxing. The only downside is the dim lighting (personal preference, haha). The dining room is quite large, with the food lines clearly divided into two sides, making it very convenient to serve. You can choose to sit inside, outside, or in a more private corner, whatever you prefer.
The Service⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly enjoyed their work. I arrived early to capture some beautiful photos for my friends. I observed the staff, including the chefs and other personnel, interacting with customers throughout my visit. They were attentive and responsive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Despite their attentiveness, they remained efficient, completing their tasks diligently. The food presentation was impeccable, and the staff promptly cleared plates during the meal. The buffet was consistently replenished, and the staff inquired about additional needs, such as water or other beverages. Before closing the buffet, they kindly reminded customers to take their desired portions.
The Worthiness⭐⭐+
While the price is relatively high, the restaurant's prime location near tourist attractions makes it a convenient option for those looking to explore the area. The buffet offers unlimited dining from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, allowing guests to enjoy a leisurely meal without time constraints. Even after the buffet line closes, guests are welcome to remain seated and continue eating. The staff will inform patrons when the buffet is about to close, giving them ample time to collect additional food.
