As mentioned, Amphawa is a true food market, both on land and in the water. There are all kinds of food, from snacks to full meals. If you're not strong-willed, you'll be tempted to stop at every stall. We were strong enough, but we fell for a restaurant with a Thai name that served Italian food, and not just any Italian food, but Italian food.

The shop in question is "Samaan Trading Shop", whose slogan is "The legend of ancient coffee by the Amphawa Canal". Let's stop by. This shop has cool seats for you to sit and dangle your legs into the canal. However, I'm a little worried about dropping my belongings into the canal, as the top wooden plank (for placing food) is not as sturdy as the bottom plank (for sitting).

The restaurant offers a wide variety of bakery items, but the most popular ones are egg tarts and pizzas. The pizzas are not limited to one topping, but offer a variety of options. We chose to try the spinach pizza.

Thin-crust pizza topped with spinach and stretchy cheese. The pizza was a bit lacking in onion flavor, but the crust was crispy and the spinach was fresh. The cheese and spinach complemented each other well, and the pizza was not soggy. I enjoyed eating it with coffee, which the restaurant provided. It was a satisfying meal.

We continued our walk for a long time, and it was almost dark when we finally decided to head back. It was nearing the two o'clock appointment we had made with our boat driver. Suddenly, we realized we hadn't eaten yet and craved something hot. We walked, looking only for noodle shops, until we reached this one. The shop had a peculiar name: "O-Kat, the Noodle Shop of Opportunity for Those with Connections." We decided to give it a try.

This restaurant's noodle menu features a variety of unique and stylish options. We opted for the sour curry noodles, which consisted of noodles served in a sour curry broth. The highlight was the rich, tangy broth, which followed the traditional sour curry recipe. The noodles were smooth and springy, and the fresh shrimp and fish balls added a delightful texture. The meal concluded with a satisfyingly flavorful dinner.
