The Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food is excellent. It deserves a 4 out of 5 star rating.
The overall quality of the ingredients in the fresh food line is excellent, especially the seafood! I can confidently say this because I have dined here on numerous occasions (I won't say every time, but I have consistently encountered fresh ingredients during my visits, both personal and by invitation). The highlights of this promotion live up to the concept. The shrimp is fresh, bouncy, firm, and crispy, with no mushiness. The combination of shrimp and warm, rich, aromatic, stretchy, and gooey cheese is incredibly satisfying, especially for cheese lovers like myself. The menu adheres to the concept well, offering a wide variety of shrimp dishes, perfect for shrimp enthusiasts. Over 70% of the dishes feature shrimp, including salads, shrimp buckets, on ice, grilled, roasted, baked, or as ingredients in other dishes. The preparation is generally good, with the exception of the two shrimp bucket sauces, which lack distinct flavor profiles and are both overly sweet. The grilling station is exceptional, producing perfectly grilled shrimp. The other dishes are also delicious, and desserts and drinks are included.
Note:
- The shrimp bucket menu here is very generous. Haha, the amount is not small at all! It's a menu for sharing, so if you have a big or small appetite, let the staff know.
- The salad bar has been reduced by half compared to the last visit. It is understood that due to limited space, and not being a food concept, as well as some people not liking or eating salads, some have been removed (but baked items remain the same). However, pre-made salads have been added.
Atmospheres ⭐⭐⭐+
The dining room may not be very large, but it is comfortable and has a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the food is delicious, even though there were many guests this time. As always, the dining room is quite dark, with dim lighting. However, I personally prefer a brighter environment, so I would have liked it to be a bit brighter. Some people might prefer the dim lighting, though. This time, the layout of the food and drink stations has been rearranged, giving the food stations more space than before. This makes it easier for guests to use the stations without feeling crowded.
Excellent Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff was attentive and took good care of the guests. Even though there were a lot of guests on the day I visited, the restaurant was able to handle it well. The food was constantly being refilled, and if it ran out, it was quickly replaced with fresh food. Each live station was responsible for its own work. For example, the grill station would cook and serve food to each table promptly, so guests didn't have to wait long. The same was true for the other stations. Since the restaurant wasn't too big, the staff was able to take care of everyone. They cleared plates and tables regularly, were polite, and helped guests with whatever they needed. For example, if the children couldn't reach the food, water, or snacks, the staff would notice and help them.
The Value ⭐⭐⭐+
The food quality is excellent (personally, I love this promotion, especially the shrimp and cheese). However, it's important to note that over 70% of the menu items contain shrimp. This is both a positive and negative aspect. For those who don't enjoy shrimp or only eat it occasionally, the menu options might be limited. On the other hand, the promotion's time-based structure and focus on shrimp cater to those who love it. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and the menu offers a good variety without being overwhelming. Additionally, there are no restrictions on the amount of food or cheese you can consume during the 4.5-hour dining period. This is a significant advantage compared to other dinner promotions. In my opinion, this promotion offers excellent value for money, even though most of the shrimp and seafood require peeling.
