Today's auspicious pilgrimage with Chang Chompoo takes us to the magnificent and newly constructed Wat Maha That Wachiramongkol, also known as Wat Bang Thong. This temple boasts stunning architecture, ranking among the most impressive in the region. Situated in Na Nua Subdistrict, Ao Luek District, Krabi Province, the temple serves as a testament to the reign of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, the 10th King of the Chakri Dynasty. The majestic stupa, towering at 45 meters, is a sight to behold. Let's embark on a journey to witness its splendor.

The architecture of this grand stupa bears a striking resemblance to the Mahabodhi Temple in India. Its shape and intricate designs evoke a sense of awe and reflect the true origins of Buddhism. As I walked around, I was filled with a sense of wonder and excitement.

You can pay respects and make offerings to the large statue of Luang Pu Thuat, which is located next to the Great Stupa.

Before leaving, don't forget to pay respects and ask for blessings from the statue of King Taksin the Great.

After a tiring, hot, and sweaty walk, you can relax and quench your thirst at the 5.00 Coffee shop. This cafe is conveniently located at the entrance of the temple, offering a variety of coffee and refreshing beverages to cool down and rehydrate.

For those who plan to visit or pay respects at the temple today, it is recommended to arrive at the temple before 10:30 am or after 3:30 pm. Due to the hot weather and the vast area of the temple, walking around the entire temple may not be enjoyable.
