The journey is more important than the destination.
It is crucial to consider what we have gained along the way.
Inner freedom is paramount.
I cherish the memories of Journey.

This trip was initiated by a member of the KBL group who proposed a hiking trip in Prachinburi. I agreed to join, as the original plan for a trip to Samor Poon with the Che group was canceled due to insufficient staff at the Neen Hom checkpoint. A friend then invited me to join the KBL group's trip, and I accepted.
After finishing work, I took a car to Bangkok to help my younger sister, Aoy, with an activity at Suan Luang Park. This is an activity that Aoy does almost every day, and whoever is available meets up to help out. The activity starts at 8:00 PM and ends at midnight.
After finishing the photoshoot at midnight, we all went our separate ways. Che continued her journey to Prachin Buri province.
The group arrived at the Khao Yai National Park Protection Unit at approximately 3:00 AM on October 22, 2016. They went to sleep immediately, with the rest of the group expected to arrive later in the morning. The group consisted of approximately 20 people. Upon waking at 7:00 AM, they showered (there are bathrooms behind the park) and ate breakfast (instant noodles). They then prepared to change clothes and walk around the park.

This trip had two guides, one leading the front and one closing the rear. The lead guide was Mr. Athit (or The Sun).
The group of 22 members gathered for a photo before setting off on their trek, covering a distance of approximately 30 kilometers. On the first day, they embarked on a long 9-kilometer hike, starting from the National Park Protection Unit Khun.11 (Klong Pega). They planned to spend the first night camping at Hin Dad, a rocky plateau.
The initial 2 kilometers of the trail consist of a bamboo forest with a gradual incline.
After a short walk, cross the first stream.
As shown in the image.
Let's keep walking.
Lunch area
Boil water and grill the pork.
Continue to step on each other.
Halfway there!
Many fallen bamboos, we have to crawl. If we have to walk and crawl like this all day, no way! It's tiring.
After passing through the bamboo forest, you will be greeted by a beautiful meadow.
Before reaching the accommodation tonight.
We arrived, but we were too late to camp on the island, so we had to move into the forest.
Camping, hammock hanging, and cooking were all planned, but the rain suddenly poured.
Braving the rain together
Larn Hin Dad Waterfall is located within the Khao Yai National Park, specifically within the jurisdiction of Khao Yai National Park Protection Unit 11 (Kh.11) Klong Phakga. Access to the waterfall requires a hike. However, the area offers more than just a scenic waterfall. It is also home to a diverse array of terrestrial orchids and wildflowers that bloom after the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the cool season. These include species such as the running horse orchid, Dusita orchid, yellow Phisamai orchid, silver button orchid, betel nut orchid, purple fan lion orchid, rice panicle lion orchid, and Suwanna garland orchid.
I enjoyed a leisurely stroll for over an hour.
Sundew (Drosera) is a large genus of carnivorous plants in the family Droseraceae, with approximately 194 species. They lure, capture, and digest insects using sticky glands that cover their leaves. The captured prey is used as a dietary supplement to compensate for the lack of nutrients in their environment. Sundew plants exhibit a wide range of forms and sizes, varying across species. They are found on every continent except Antarctica.
Return to the accommodation. Around noon, continue the journey.
From Hin Dad Stone Field, hike to Tung Bang Aen, the second night's campsite.
"True beauty never demands attention."
In the film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," beauty is portrayed as an intrinsic quality that does not require external validation or attention.
Strolling through a picturesque meadow carpeted with a profusion of silver button flowers.
He walked until he reached the fern thicket.
"Fern Chohn"
Ferns in this family are called "Chon" by villagers. There are two genera: Dicranopteris and Gleichenia (small-leaved Chon). Both genera are sun-tolerant terrestrial ferns that prefer to grow on steep slopes with high humidity and intense sunlight. These ferns are very effective in preventing soil erosion. They have creeping rhizomes that grow along the ground and have hairs. The stipes are divided into 2-3 branches. The two genera are similar in appearance. They have not yet been observed to be cultivated as ornamental plants.
Beyond the fern thicket, there lies a meadow.
It's hot. Let's play in the water to cool down.
Some sought shade to rest, and after recovering from their fatigue, they continued their journey.
Walk through the meadow into the forest, then out into the meadow again. Once you pass the meadow, you will reach the campsite.
Set up the hammock, hang the laundry, and then go out to take pictures.

It's time to cook dinner.
On October 20, 2016, Lieutenant General Sansern Kaewkamnerd, the government's spokesperson, revealed that the Office of the Prime Minister's Spokesperson had received a request from M.C. Chatri Chalerm Yukol to invite the public to join in commemorating the great kindness and expressing condolences to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej by joining forces to sing the Royal Anthem together on Saturday, October 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the area in front of the Grand Palace and Sanam Luang.
Due to our inability to attend the ceremony, Uncle Mom invited everyone to gather and stand in silent tribute, lighting candles to commemorate His Majesty's immense kindness and express our deepest condolences.
While I was sleeping soundly, a flash flood hit at midnight. Some of my belongings floated away, but I managed to save most of them. I got up and helped move things to higher ground, then stood watch to check the water level. Around one o'clock, I went back to sleep.
The morning atmosphere
After lunch, please prepare your belongings and get ready for the next leg of the journey.
The journey begins with wading through water.

Capturing a moment before moving on.
Continuing on, the surrounding area is mostly bamboo forest. The air is pleasant during the walk, not hot, but rather cool.
Then I found the railway.

The Haew E-Am Waterfall is located in Bu Fai Subdistrict, Prachantakham District, Prachin Buri Province. It is another waterfall in the Khao Yai National Park forest, with a height of approximately 25 meters.
Heaw E-Am Waterfall is located in Bufai, Prachantakam district, Prachinburi province, Thailand. It is a waterfall within Khao Yai National Park, with a height of approximately 25 meters.
The majestic beauty of Haew E-Am waterfall is only visible during the rainy season. This large waterfall originates from the Klong Chang Khlan River, which flows from the Khao Yai forest through a massive cliff, creating a cascading waterfall. Previously, the only way to reach this waterfall was by trekking through the mountains.
Be careful when coming down, as it is steep and slippery.
Climb up
The return route from Haew E-Am waterfall is a steep, winding downhill path with a rocky, uneven surface. Some sections have been paved with cement, but the width is limited. Previously, reaching the waterfall required a 4-5 kilometer hike. The upper area of the waterfall is a high plateau with a vast grassland. The Forest Department has planted trees in this area, making it accessible by car. However, only off-road vehicles or motorcycles are recommended due to the challenging terrain.
Walk down to the black road. Then, hail a car back to Khun Han 11 to take a shower. Then, everyone went their separate ways to go home.
This trip, I would like to express my gratitude to the KBL group, especially Uncle Jork, Uncle Mom, and everyone in the group who helped me during the rain, took care of my hammock, and invited me to join the trip. This trip was beautiful and enjoyable.
