"Fern Glade," a green paradise in the southern Amazon region, is a medium-sized pond suitable for tourism, rafting, overnight stays, and camping. It is located in the area of ​​Phu Khao Thong Subdistrict, Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province.

The raw beauty of this emerald valley, adorned with towering ferns, lies less than 10 kilometers from the village of To Mo. While accessible by car, the final 3 kilometers are unpaved and best navigated by pickup truck, SUV, or motorbike. Alternatively, visitors can park their vehicles and continue on foot for a short distance.

For this trip, we will bring inflatable boats to play with (there are rafts to paddle in the Fern field area).

At an auspicious time, we set off from To Mo village to Fern Glade. However, due to the poor road conditions, we had to park our car and continue on foot, carrying our inflatable boat with us!

After a short journey in the light rain, we arrived at the fern field and set up camp for the night.

The saying holds true: after a difficult night, the morning brings a breathtaking view. As the darkness of hardship fades, the "Fern Glade" emerges in the new dawn, unveiling a scenic panorama that soothes the weary traveler, assuring them that every step was worth it.

The campsite is a flat area that can accommodate nearly a hundred people. It has a water source and is also a route for morning rafting or kayaking activities to get a close look at the large fern field, which is a rare sight.
