"Uthai Thani: Under the Shadow of Rain"

For the past two months, rain has been falling intermittently in Umpang. This is according to "Phat," a resident of Mae Jan sub-district, Umpang district, Tak province, who spoke to us.

Our journey began in Saraburi, where we embarked on the Asian Highway towards Tak Province. Our destination was Mae Jan Subdistrict in Umphang District. Rain greeted us throughout the journey. As we arrived in Tak Province, it coincided with the rice planting season for the local farmers.

Fields and various crops were lush and green all along the way.

"The 1291 curves of the Skywalk" remain a hallmark of Umphang, with mountains and mist lining both sides of the road.

We gradually eased our foot off the accelerator, rolled down the car windows, and leaned out to feel the cool breeze and the refreshing mist on our faces. We played some soft music to set the mood for the journey.

At 5 pm, "Umphang Hospital" was still filled with Karen patients. We brought milk powder, medicine, and diapers to leave there. This visit is about giving and sharing.

"We brought snacks, milk, stationery, toys, and candles to the children at "Moo Baan Ko So Tha, Mae O Ko" village in Mae Chan sub-district. These items will surely be useful to them in their daily lives."

"Arriving at the Kuy Leut O village, we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit another beautiful waterfall. We ascended to admire the splendor of the heart-shaped Pitukroh waterfall, one last stop before concluding our trip."
