Have you ever faced these problems? You desperately want to travel, but your wallet doesn't cooperate, and you barely have any time to spare.

Today, I will review and present a tourist destination near Bangkok (very much). Plus, after visiting one place, I was able to quickly visit another place. It can be said that it is very good value for money and time.

The province is 'Samut Prakan', a province very close to Bangkok. Plus, the journey is very convenient. You can travel by private car or bus. I myself came by bus because it was cheap. I had to follow the concept 55555555555

Let's Begin!!

Actually, this trip was born out of my free day. 5555555555 I was sitting and clicking on the map in Google Maps to see which places were nearby. I clicked and clicked and found this place.

A sudden urge to visit struck me, so I immediately searched for information about what was there and how to get there. After 15 minutes, I left...

A rough summary of the directions to Phra Chulachomklao Fort suggests taking bus route 20 to Phra Samut Chedi. I have saved this information on my phone.

Bus route 20 starts from Din Daeng Pier and ends at Pomnakarachasawatthayanont School. For more information, please visit this link: http://www.bmta.co.th/?q=th/bus/20

I took bus route 75 and got off at the bus stop opposite Big C Daokanong, then took bus route 20. This is just a suggestion, you can take any bus that is convenient for you. I just happened to take this route. 55555

The bus conductor told me to get off at the pagoda. After almost an hour on the bus,

Problem #1 began...

This is the Sam Yaek Chedi sign, where you don't need to get off! Bus 20 will go all the way in, and then remember that the bus will stop at the school. On the way back, just get on there. And most importantly, the songthaew to Pom Phra Chula is right there. Why did I get off?!

At least I know I'm on the right track now. 5555555555

Initially, I considered taking a motorcycle taxi directly to Phra Chulachomklao Fort. However, upon further reflection, I decided to try riding a songthaew instead for a more authentic experience. Consequently, I walked into the area where the buses were entering to observe.

If you see this school, you can rest assured that bus number 20 will stop nearby. What about the two-row car? What does it look like?

The bus looks like this. The buses that go to Phra Chulachomklao Fort will have the words "Phra Chulachomklao Fort" written clearly on the front window. If you're still not sure, you can look at the side of the bus. But if you're still not sure, just walk to the bus stop. The bus stop for Phra Chulachomklao Fort is located at Khlong Thom Market, Phra Samut Chedi. Just walk a little past the school and you'll see it.

We can take this songthaew all the way to the end of the line. It will stop at Phra Chulachomklao Fort. What impressed me was that the songthaews here are similar to school buses. The drivers know exactly where everyone is getting off and stop without anyone having to press the bell. This suggests that the passengers are mostly locals who ride regularly. This is just my personal observation, haha.

Finally, it has arrived!

This is the place, but I took a picture of the entrance. The last stop for the shared taxi is here. I was the only one who got off here. The ticket collector asked me, "Are you here to take pictures?" I replied yes, and he said, "It's too late now, and there won't be any more taxis leaving." I was shocked because it was only a little past 4 pm. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get back, so I asked him what time the last shared taxi would arrive. He said, "The last one is around 5:30 pm." Luckily, I had enough time to take pictures and catch a ride back.

For those traveling by private car, you can arrive at your convenience.

This is the area around where you get off the car. Walk in a bit and you will see the King Rama V monument.

After paying their respects, they began taking photos.

From the King Rama V Monument, you can see the Maeklong Battleship (not a mackerel...).

From behind

Walk around the back of the monument and you will find the real Phra Chulachomklao Fort.

The review I saw before I came here still had a grass floor, but now it's been renovated.

Entering the venue, I felt disoriented and ended up not taking any pictures. I simply walked out.

Another highlight is the 'Mae Klong Battleship'.

A view from the boat.

Looking to the other side, you will see the Chao Phraya River.

Galley

At first glance, it appeared to be some kind of storage facility, dark and imposing.

Ultimately,...

The atmosphere is just like in the movies, especially at night.

Mouth of the Chao Phraya River

The speaker mentions climbing stairs on the ship to reach a high vantage point, eventually arriving at the current location.

Hmm, is this relevant? 555555

Return to review mode. Don't lose your mind. 55555 This is a wide-angle view. (It's not going well at all...)

This location offers a delightful setting for photography, resembling a serene public park with a refreshing atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy cycling, leisurely walks, dog walking, and even witness naval officers jogging. The unique aspect of this park is its location within a military base.

Wait a minute? Did I forget something? The last bus leaves at 5:30 p.m. I glanced at the time.
17:20 p.m.

Oh no! I rushed off the boat and came back to the same spot. I asked people around if the last bus had left yet.
Luckily, it hadn't. Phew~~ I almost had to sleep here. I waited a moment, and the bus arrived. I quickly jumped on it. I don't want to miss my ride. 55555

Return with the sailors

This is the entrance to the camp. I didn't take any pictures when I entered.

Take the songthaew to the end of the line, and it will stop at the same place where you got on.

After that, I stopped by the market to use the restroom and buy some water, as I hadn't had any since entering the Phra Chulachomklao Fort.

Then, out of the blue, I came across this photo while using the restroom in the market.

It's like an old movie. Then I walked to the bus stop as instructed at the beginning. 55555
